“Andrew is a uniquely talented “artists artist”. He is one who lifts the atmosphere wherever he goes. His depth extends far beyond the traditional musician’s box, with extraordinary insight into the human condition and a sensitivity built on experience which cannot be manufactured.

This world needs “Outliers” - those often misunderstood people who are so out-of-step with their time that they often disrupt beliefs about the world and how it actually works… but who also inspire and help us see our own potentials, to truly come into  acceptance of oneself…and to have the courage to be what they are…

Andrew is a true “Outlier”… a creative… He is looked to for his songs and ideas about Life and how it may actually work… His songs are “journey songs” recorded authentically and as truly as they can be…as the question of the “truth” about things is really all that interests him…

Perhaps the truth is that it is as simple as

“Your job in Life is to just be YOU! What else could be expected?”

Though he has played on and produced top Billboard and Amazon records, he has somehow become a Teacher as much as a musician…and he has taught thousands and thousands of people at events as well as from his world-class mountaintop recording studio and retreat center.  As we all do, he writes from his personal experience…growing up in a small Iowa farming community, being a commercial fisherman on vessels in the wild Alaskan seas for nearly a decade, struggling with truly catastrophic personal losses and the agony of finding his way in this world…all which helped create “conditions” for growth.  He is a wilderness man, musician, producer, businessman, consultant…and of course, first and foremost, an artist…

He approaches Life with a spirit of “humility and openness” and is willing to suspend popular beliefs in order to consider alternative ideas… As a genuine seeker of the truth about matters, realizing that 100% of the world can be incorrect about things (i.e. “the world is flat” or “the universe revolves around the earth”), he tries to be as integrous as possible about living and dealing with people. Being outside of “the Herd” or “the Huddled Masses” puts one in the distinct minority, but it is also less crowded and is liberating and freeing.

“To me, it seems that we spend nearly our entire lives trying to get free…to find ourselves…and work out our emotions… To that end, I am dedicated to helping and giving of myself which is really all anyone has to give…” ~ Andrew

Every record Andrew puts out seems to be a concept album… This is perhaps the “journey” part of his work. Audiences know that he is continually growing and is sharing the very best he knows at that particular point in time. The fact that so much of his work holds up over time is evidence that his writings are “truly considered” and are contemplated based on a broad base of knowledge…
